This comedy-drama from director George Clooney features two parallel stories that seek to expose the dark underbelly of life in 1950s suburban America.

Suburbicon is a peaceful, idyllic suburban community with affordable homes and manicured lawns …the perfect place to raise a family, and in the summer of 1959, the Lodge family is doing just that. But the tranquil surface masks a disturbing reality, as white businessman, husband and father Gardner Lodge (Matt Damon) must navigate the town's dark underbelly of betrayal when a home invasion rattles a quiet family town

Lodge tries to pull off an insurance scam with the help of his wife's identical twin sister (Julianne Moore). Meanwhile, a black family (Karimah Westbrook, Leith M. Burke, and Tony Espinosa) who recently moved in next door to the Lodges are forced to confront the virulent racism of their community.

The Players: Matt Damon, Julianne Moore, Oscar Isaac and Noah Jupe
